Seed Generation

Youth Volunteer Program 2026

Youth living in Musqueam, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Tsleil Wau-tuth, Squamish Nation and New Westminster are invited to apply.

Are you a youth interested in helping your community, having fun adventures and learning new skills? If so, Seed Generation may be for you!

Are you: 

  • Between the ages of 12 and 18? 

  • Indigenous, a Newcomer to Canada, racialized, 2SLGBTQI, 

  • living with a disability or facing barriers? 

  • Living in New Westminster, North Vancouver or Vancouver?

  • 8 Spots Available per cohort

Youth Will:

  • Learn about civic engagement and volunteer in your community       

  • Learn safety skills including online safety and self defense                                          

  • Earn certifications in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, First-Aid and Food Safe 

  • Connect with Knowledge keepers and Elders

  • Enjoy outdoor active adventures

  • Go on a 3 Day Overnight Retreat at Loon Lake, Maple Ridge

  • Earn 120 volunteer service hours towards graduation
